Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Anselm was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Anselm never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
