History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a Detective, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Torz learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has achieved small success as a Brewer.
