Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jarana embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She struck the Apothecary job and began her own company from there.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: She was born into a rich family. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting orcs, the young Hecat began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
