History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balam was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
