History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valafar embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Valafar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
