History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Percival began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Quarion does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarion fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
