History: Thorpe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thorpe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thorpe. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. After coming to the age of reason, Quilla took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
