History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Henry was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Henry grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Henry. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Banker, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.
