History: Direcris was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Direcris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born into a rich family. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by her family

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and many giants want her driven away
