Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. A true patriot, Paela would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Paela alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Through the years after Flame was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Flame's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Simon grew up listening to his father's many stories. Simon liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
