Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To protect his home.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Bethrynna hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bethrynna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and wants her loneliness to end

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
