History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Halander grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Halander. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Description: This southern woman is abnormally tall. She wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her hair is short and auburn. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born in the south. Through the years after Heather was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Heather's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He uses divination through singing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Quarethon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
