Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Pennie was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Pennie's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oppleby grew up listening to his father's many stories. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Oppleby has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Siffress embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats
