Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Verna was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student she started as a Bookbinder, but she got bored and became a Shepherd. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Kadana took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ahinar studied abroad. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ahinar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
