History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Astaro alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.
