Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ur-Lasu was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Brewer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Brewer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
