He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with her Navigator father left her crippled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Through the years after Megged was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Megged's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
