History: Born to a Dyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Percival grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Percival. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for him, and Medrash does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. After a long history of fighting, Dara and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Adrie was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
