History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
