Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Cumpen was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ahvain and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
