He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Cory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: He hates Dragonborns with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
