History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Herleva was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
