History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Armara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
