During her travels, Engong and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Engong discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Engong fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Description: He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the left. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to work out more often

Description: She is a pot bellied southern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a shortspear on her belt. Her chestnut hair is still thick. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she has money and likes to spend it
