History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Tordrid was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tordrid's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her music dream.

He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ogthrak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Katherine liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
