History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is wracked by social anxiety

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: She was born in the north. She worked as a nervous Healer and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
