Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Zedaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Theriatis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has never given up on his writing dream.
