History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Phelaia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Phelaia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Baradad took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
