History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is lean but muscular and is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gimble does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Naivara hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and seeks redemption

Personality: Dworic hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born in a small island village. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
