During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Direcris hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Direcris was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
