History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hethress was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Architect, but she was a colossal failure. Being a Navigator kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born in the south. Keyleth abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Locksmith, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern
