History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Althaea's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Locksmith, and she later adopted a second son.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Bathin and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bathin discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bathin fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
