History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Volen abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jillian embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Jillian was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her crest, while still mostly gold, has prominent grey streaks. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dragonborn in existence. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Havilar began to lead the lost caravan. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Description: He dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He carries with him a set of falchions, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break

Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Depressed. Bonds: Attractive, Has a crush, Adventurer. Occupation: Crown-heir

Voice: Speaks fast with a slight lisp

Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'9" when asserting herself. Her fur is white and very short. Her eyes are green.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is greedy; and to be a jeweler again
