Description: This late middle aged man wears a black vest and prefers blue and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down and is in decent physical shape. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is a Spy first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Therai grew up listening to his father's many stories. A freak accident while working with his Tailor father left him crippled. During his travels, Therai and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Therai discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Therai fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Bathin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Bathin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
