History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Fonkin was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
