Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Five was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
