Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Sarai was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Sarai decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Tarhun was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Katherine lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her childhood dream was to be a Bather, but she was a colossal failure. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
