History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Nelkin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sellsword business.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
