History: Resh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Trym hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
