History: Jo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Jo took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up mace and armor she uses now. She tends to her Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a Body Guard, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Adventurer and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and revenge

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
