She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Marigold was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Unemployed. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
