Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Direcris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people.
