Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He lacks moral complications. History: Jocelyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Miller, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Architect, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Darrak is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born in the north. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears dull grey sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed axe, just in case. She has chestnut hair. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Nora was taken on many hunting expeditions. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Nora and her spouse have recently divorced.
