History: Born in the west to a Detective, Grisha learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Nyx was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Nyx was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
