History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Alberich alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Elysande took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor she uses now. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.
