History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Vepar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Zanna was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Gnome Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
