Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mason. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is wearing a long, tan cloak. She has styled her silver hair well, parting it to the right. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bimpnottin embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Description: He wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a ceremonial dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His crest is rusty and curly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Arava and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and to reunite with her old friends
