History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Liftrasa grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. During his travels, Theren and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theren discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theren fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
