History: Carlin was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carlin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Spear lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Spear was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Broce isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Broce and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a ruler again
