Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently the stress of being a Gardener has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

History: Findex hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Burto does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Burto was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Sculptor, but he was a colossal failure. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
